Wellington Square proudly opened its doors in November 2004, as the first indoor shopping centre in Mitchell Shire. At 6811m2 and with a huge variety of retailers, Wellington Square has quickly become a central feature of Wallan. At the design stage, we partnered with Mitchell Shire Library. We saw such value in this asset that we offered the council 10 years free rent and a further 10 years at 50% of the market rate. This support is valued at $1,000,000 plus.

As the township continues to expand, Wellington Square meets ever growing local demand. Woolworths is an anchor tenant and other major retailers include KFC and Petrol Plus. Located on the Northern Highway, the centre welcomes over 1.5 million visitors every year and is an important employer for local residents.
