Wellington Square proudly opened its doors in November 2004 as the first indoor shopping centre in Mitchell Shire. Spanning 6811m² and hosting a diverse array of retailers, Wellington Square swiftly established itself as a cornerstone of the Wallan township.

During the design phase, we collaborated with Mitchell Shire Library to address the community’s need for library services in Wallan. In a gesture of support, we offered Mitchell Shire Council 10 years of rent-free occupancy followed by an additional 10 years at half the market rate, amounting to a contribution valued at over $1.5 million.

As Wallan continues to grow, Wellington Square remains committed to meeting the increasing local demand. Our shopping centre also serves as a significant employer for local residents.
