How to Make Easy, Delicious Crispbread for International Picnic Day

Sunday 18th June is International Picnic Day, and what better way to celebrate than to set up a beautiful picnic of your own.

Of course, no picnic is complete without a delicious cheese board with all the trimmings. Make your picnic extra tasty with homemade crispbread, made with the Cinnamon & Fruit Loaf from Bakers Delight at Wellington Square.

Ingredients

Bakers Delight Cinnamon & Fruit Loaf, unsliced
200gm salami
Assorted cheeses, to serve
Olives, to serve
Marinated artichokes, to serve
Dip of choice, to serve
Assorted fruit, to serve
Assorted nuts, to serve

Method

  1. Step 1 Preheat oven to 140°C and line two oven trays with baking paper
  2. Step 2 Finely slice half of the Bakers Delight Cinnamon & Fruit Loaf into 0.2mm pieces and cut in half. Place onto oven trays and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown
  3. Step 3 Turn and repeat for another 10 minutes. Cool on drying rack
  4. Step 4 Assemble on wooden board or platter along with remaining ingredients and serve
